Chef Julie started her love with food at 5 when she got her first Betty Crocker baking set for Christmas. Once she knew who Julia Child was she knew her destiny, this lead her to CSULB to major in Home Economics. As former owner of JVP Catering in Long Beach she catered many private parties and several times for the Nutcracker Ballet for the Long Beach Ballet. Julie was the catering manager for La Petite Cuisine and also taught cooking classes with Roy Pingo. Her biggest challenge was an Easy Bake Cooking class for 20 seven year old girls and has since retired that class. She is currently chefing at Kitchen Outfitters and working in the shop, the love affair with food continues. Her favorites to cook are: French, Italian, Vegetarian, and German.
