Sushi Girl

(aka Nikki Gilbert) has worked in Japanese restaurants ever since she was a teenager. She has worked in sushi bars in both the US and Japan. After college, Nikki moved to Japan (Kitakyshu) where she lived and worked for three years before returning home to Los Angeles to start her namesake company, Sushi Girl ®. She was the subject of a prime-time Japanese television show and has been featured on a number of national television programs as well as in the pages of The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Trump magazines, and even on the front page of the Los Angeles Times Food Section. But whether she is preparing sushi for Hollywoods biggest names or teaching students to make spicy tuna rolls for themselves, her goal is always the same: to provide the freshest sushi her clients will ever eat.
